Server virtualization is the direction of research focus and development for the information network system. This paper describes the application of Vmware Esxi and EMC on Tianjin earthquake monitoring network system. The goal of such application is to realize the server resource sharing in seismic system by using low-cost virtualization and to improve security of business system and data. At the same time, we can save energy and provide reference for the server virtualization of regional centre.
